Your safety is guaranteed as there will be a trained ranger and guide with you throughout your trip.

In your adventurous hike your professional guide will inform you all about the traditional medicinal uses of different plants and point out animal tracks and scat. This ultimate trip will offer you the amazing views of the crater a visit to a maasai village, stunning sight of the oldoinyo lengai mountain and remarkable landscape surrounding the area. The views are incredible and perfect picture –so carry your camera.The walk passes through scrubby bush and requires moderate fitness level. The weather can vary so you better carry a sweater just in case. Walking boots plenty of water and sun protection can come in handy.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Olmoti crater – Nainokanoka camp

Start our journey from Moshi heading to ngorongoro conservation area we keep traversing along the crater rim to the village of nainokanoka. The afternoon will be spent hiking to the rim of olmoti crater. Along the way we will visit a small waterfall and spend the night at nainokanoka camp.

Day 2: Nainokanoka camp – Empakai crater

we will have full-day hike to explores the dramatic Empakaai Crater. With a lake on the Crater floor and the entire caldera encircled by a steep, densely forested wall, Empakaai is a scene of vast natural beauty. On clear days the Crater offers views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, Tanzania’s most recently active volcano. The steep slope calls for a degree of fitness, but the walk through the lush forest, with its ancient strangler figs and rich birdlife, is well worth the effort. The trail continues to the lakeshore, where you can view water birds such as flamingo.

Day 3: Empakai crater –Acacia camp (via naiyobi village)

After breakfast we will trek through the naiyobi maasai village and get more time to interact with the local community that is rich in culture our hike will take about 8 hours and we will head out of naiyobi village and the green ngorongoro conservation area. We will camp under acacia tree at acacia camp.

Day 4: Acacia camp-Lake natron (kamakia camp)

After breakfast, we will spend 6 to 7 hours descending into the Great Rift Valley while indulging our eyes with the amazing view of oldoinyo lengai and lake natron. After our descent, we will be welcomed by amazing landscape shaped by the ashes of oldoinyo lengai’s last eruption. We will hike to our campsite and if time and energ ypermit there is an option of visiting a near by waterfall engaresero. We will get dinner and overnight at Lake Natron- kamakia camp.

Day 5: Lake Natron – Moshi

This will be our last day of adventure and after getting an early breakfast you may get to explore the lake more before departure time. Our tour will end in Moshi/Arusha.
