The 5-day Kilimanjaro Marangu route journey begins at the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate, where you will complete the necessary registration and formalities. The first day's trek is relatively short and takes you through the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro. You'll enjoy the beautiful scenery, rich biodiversity, and a chance to spot some wildlife. The trail gradually ascends, and after several hours of hiking, you'll arrive at the Mandara Hut where you will spend the night.
